Update of July 17 regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 981,408 after 114 additional new cases on July 17, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 968,016 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.7% along with the 159 latest recovered. There are 1,439 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,473 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,953 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, one death was recorded. On July 17, 1,568 people were tested through the antigen process and 21 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,928 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till July 17, 20,447,073 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
