Update of July 15 regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 981,142 after 161 additional new cases on July 15, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 967,906 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.7% along with the 48 latest recovered. There are 1,284 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,644 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On July 15, 2,074 people were tested through the antigen process and 68 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,907 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till July 15, 20,436,688 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
