Update of February 10 Regarding COVID-19 Infection

The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 971,475 after additional 1,013 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on February 10, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 930,607 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 95.8% along with 2,238 latest recovered. There are 29,004 active infected cases at present.

According to the Ministry, 8,880 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on February 10, 11% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 18.3% people diagnosed positive till now.

Till now, the death toll has reached 11,864. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 12 died on February 10.

On February 10, 3,000 people were tested through the antigen process among which 356 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 136,511 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. According to the Ministry, 16,071,226 people have been fully vaccinated till February 10. Morang, Sunsari, Jhapa, Dhanusha, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Chitwan, Kavrepalanchowk, Kaski, Banke, Rupandehi and Kailali have more than 500 active cases.
