Update of February 13 Regarding COVID-19 Infection

The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 973,057 after additional 427 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on February 13, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 938,583 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 96.5% along with 3,935 latest recovered. There are 22,584 active infected cases at present.

According to the Ministry, 6,037 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on February 13, 7% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 18.2% people diagnosed positive till now.

Till now, the death toll has reached 11,892. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, four died on February 13.

On February 13, 4,078 people were tested through the antigen process among which 94 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 137,412 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. According to the Ministry, 16,357,977 people have been fully vaccinated till February 13. Morang, Sunsari, Dhanusha, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Chitwan, Kabhrepalanchowk, Kaski, Banke, and Kailali have more than 500 active cases.
