Update of December 22 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 255,236 after additional 722 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on December 22, 2020. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 245,709 of the total infected have recovered. On December 21, the rate of recovery reached 96.3% along with the 966 latest recovered. The ministry reported that 7,729 people are being treated. Till now, the death toll has reached 1,798. According to the Ministry, 7000 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours.
