Update of December 10 Regarding COVID-19 Infection

The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 823,786 after additional 232 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on December 10, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 806,237 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 97.9% along with 339 latest recovered.

According to the Ministry, 6,472 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on December 10, 4% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 17.5% people diagnosed positive till now.

Till now, the death toll has reached 11,552. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, three people died on December 10. There are 5,997 people in home isolation. Kathmandu and Lalitpur have more than 500 active cases.

On December 10, 4,015 people were tested through the antigen process among which 27 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 95,728 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 9,168,358 people have been fully vaccinated till December 10.
