Update of August 31 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people reached 997,526 after 180 additional new cases on August 31, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 982,366 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.5% along with the 215 latest recovered. There are 3,158 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,732 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 12,002 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, two deaths were recorded. On August 31, 1,825 people were tested through the antigen process and 89 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 150,701 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till August 31, 21,410,149 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
