Update of August 30 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people reached 997,122 after 143 additional new cases on August 30, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 981,976 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.5% along with the 232 latest recovered. There are 3,146 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,458 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 12,000 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On August 30, 2,463 people were tested through the antigen process and 114 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 150,565 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till August 30, 21,410,141 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
