Update of August 29 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people reached 996,979 after 145 additional new cases on August 29, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 981,744 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.5% along with the 462 latest recovered. There are 3,235 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,525 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 12,000 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On August 29, 2,486 people were tested through the antigen process and 81 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 150,451 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till August 29, 21,410,141 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
