Update of August 27 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people reached 996,670 after 65 additional new cases on August 27, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 981,059 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.4% along with the 396 latest recovered. There are 3,612 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 643 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,999 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On August 27, 2,196 people were tested through the antigen process and 108 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 150,332 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till August 27, 21,310,913 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
