Update of August 25 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people reached 996,442 after 211 additional new cases on August 25, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 980,245 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.4% along with the 307 latest recovered. There are 4,199 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,996 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,998 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, three deaths were recorded. On August 25, 2,958 people were tested through the antigen process and 233 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 150,063 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till August 25, 21,275,967 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
