Update of August 14 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people reached 993,032 after 305 additional new cases on August 14, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 975,609 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.2% along with the 302 latest recovered. There are 5,435 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,308 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,988 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, two death were recorded. On August 14, 2,521 people were tested through the antigen process and 150 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 146,912 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till August 14, 20,771,341 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19
