Update of August 13 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people reached 992,727 after 162 additional new cases on August 13, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 975,307 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.2% along with the 501 latest recovered. There are 5,434 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,399 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,986 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, two deaths were recorded. On August 13, 1,766 people were tested through the antigen process and 101 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 146,762 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till August 13, 20,662,379 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
