Update of April 7 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,545 after additional seven new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 7, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 965,847 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.7% along with 25 latest recovered. There are 747 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,819 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On April 7, 1,849 people were tested through the antigen process and no one was diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,147 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till April 7, 19,256,884 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
