Update of April 5 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,528 after additional 21 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 5, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 965,765 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.7% along with 51 latest recovered. There are 812 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 3,278 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On April 5, 2,003 people were tested through the antigen process among which three diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,144 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till April 5, 19,207,632 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
