Update of April 3 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,475 after additional 23 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 3, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 965,625 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.7% along with 66 latest recovered. There are 899 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 5,847 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On April 3, 1,062 people were tested through the antigen process among which one was diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,140 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till April 3, 19,165,274 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
