Update of April 29 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,806 after additional 13 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 29, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 966,612 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with 19 latest recovered. There are 243 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,778 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On April 29, 993 people were tested through the antigen process and one was diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,189 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till April 29, 19,574,894 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
