Update of April 28 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,793 after additional 15 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 28, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 966,593 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with 18 latest recovered. There are 249 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 4,882 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On April 28, 993 people were tested through the antigen process and no one were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,188 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till April 28, 19,534,534 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
