Update of April 26 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,770 after additional eight new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 26, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 966,558 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with 18 latest recovered. There are 261 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry,4,064 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On April 26, 1,162 people were tested through the antigen process and two were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,185 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till April 26, 19,506,642 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
