Update of April 24 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,743 after additional 11 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 24, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 966,523 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.7% along with 25 latest recovered. There are 269 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 3,144 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On April 24, 1,111 people were tested through the antigen process and two were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,181 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till April 24, 19,479,252 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
