Update of April 23 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,732 after additional 18 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 23, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 966,498 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with 17 latest recovered. There are 283 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 3,691 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On April 23, 1,256 people were tested through the antigen process and two were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,181 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till April 23, 19,452,877 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
