Update of April 22 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,714 after additional nine new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 22, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 966,481 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with 25 latest recovered. There are 282 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,133 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On April 22, 1,518 people were tested through the antigen process and nine were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,149 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till April 22, 19,447,262 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
