Update of April 21 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,705 after additional 12 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 21, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 966,456 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.7% along with 32 latest recovered. There are 298 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,083 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On April 21, 1,464 people were tested through the antigen process and three were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,170 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till April 21, 19,418,684 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
