Update of April 20 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,693 after additional nine new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 20, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 966,424 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.7% along with 25 latest recovered. There are 318 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,528 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On April 20, 1,349 people were tested through the antigen process and four were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,167 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till April 20, 19,405,045 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
