Update of April 19 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,684 after additional 10 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 19, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 966,399 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.7% along with 26 latest recovered. There are 334 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 3,058 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On April 19, 1,345 people were tested through the antigen process and no one was diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,163 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till April 19, 19,391,162 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
