Update of April 18 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,674 after additional nine new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 18, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 966,373 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.7% along with 34 latest recovered. There are 350 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 3,600 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On April 18, 1,091 people were tested through the antigen process and one was diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,163 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till April 18, 19,382,176 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
