Update of April 17 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,665 after additional 11 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 17, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 966,339 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.7% along with 44 latest recovered. There are 375 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,750 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On April 17, 739 people were tested through the antigen process and one was diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,162 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till April 17, 19,375,179 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
