Update of April 1 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 978,442 after additional 16 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on April 1, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 965,469 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.7% along with 75 latest recovered. There are 1,022 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,516 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,951. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On April 1, 1,319 people were tested through the antigen process among which six were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,139 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till April 1, 19,115,357 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
