Update of 20 July Regarding Corona Virus Infection

Till date 17,844 people have been diagnosed with corona virus infection nationwide. According to the press statement released by the Ministry of Health and Population, 11,868 have been discharged from the hospital after treatment and 5,936 are being treated. Due to the disease, 41 have died. Out of the total infected, 66.5% have recovered. On 20 July, additional 186 cases have been diagnosed and 173 have been discharged.

Provincial Reports

In Province 2, till 20 July 2020, there have been 4,636 infected people out of which 2,697 have been discharged after recovery. At present, there are 1,933 infected people. Till 20 July, six have died in the province.

In Gandaki Province,

According to the District Representative of Nawalpur (Bardaghat- Susta East), Tirtha Raj Dumre, INSEC Gandaki provided health equipment to Binayi Tribeni rural municipality of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Susta East) on 20 July 2020. The handover was done by Human Right’s Committee Binayi Tribeni rural municipality’s coordinator Dharma Raj GC, member Tej Prasad Koirala and Bhuna Pangeni to the chairperson Dambar Bahadur GC. They were provided with 500 masks, 1 litre sanitizer, and two thermal guns. Chairperson Dambar Bahadur GC thanked INSEC for the help.
