Update of 19 July Regarding Corona Virus Infection
Till date 17,658 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection nationwide. According to the press statement released by the Ministry of Health and Population, 11,695 have been discharged from the hospital after treatment and 5,923 are being treated. Due to the disease, 40 people have died. There has been 315,570 PCR test till now and 66.2% have recovered. There are 22,632 people staying in the quarantine. On 19 July, additional 156 cases have been diagnosed and 58 have been discharged.

In Gandaki Province, INSEC Gandaki provided health equipment to Kawasoti municipality of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Susta East) on 19 July 2020. The handover was done by Human Right’s Committee’s member Daya Ram Acharya, INSEC District Representative Tirtha Raj Dumre and INSEC. They were provided with 500 masks, 1 litre sanitizer, and two thermal guns. Deputy Mayor of the municipality Prem Shankar Mardaniya thanked INSEC for the help.
