Update of 14 July Regarding Corona Virus Infection

Till date 17,061 people have been diagnosed with corona virus infection nationwide. Half of them have been discharged after recovery. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 10,328 have recovered. On 14 July, additional 116 cases have been diagnosed.

In Province 2,

According to the District Representative of Saptari, Manohar Kumar Pokharel, a 19-year-old man staying at National Primary School of Chinnamasta rural municipality-2 was bitten by a snake on 13 July 2020. Due to continuous rainfall from past four days, people staying in the quarantine are not feeling secured. They have demanded for proper management of the quarantine.

In Karnali Province,

According to the District Representative of Jumla, Mandatta Rawal, after a businessman of Chandanath municipality-5 was diagnosed with corona, prohibition was started at Khalanga.

In Sudurpaschim Paschim,

According to the District Representative of Doti, Basu Dev Joshi, INSEC Sudurpaschim Province Dhangadi provided health equipment to Purbichauki rural municipality on 13 July 2020 through Human Rights Group. The materials were handed over to the chairperson of the rural municipality Dirgha Raj Bogati. They were provided with medical masks, soaps, disposable gloves and sanitizer.

According to the District Representative of Dadeldhura, Bhupendra Bista, INSEC Sudurpaschim Province Dhangadi provided health equipment to Nawa Durga rural municipality on 13 July 2020 through Human Rights Group. The materials were handed over to the chairperson of the rural municipality Kabindra Bista. They were provided with medical masks, soaps, disposable gloves and sanitizer.
