Update of September 12 Regarding Corona Virus Infection
On September 12, an additional 1,201 cases were diagnosed with which there are now 53,120 corona virus-infected people in Nepal. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 37,524 have been discharged after recovery. On September 12, 852 were discharged. Out of the total number of infected, 70.6% have recovered. At present, there are 15,260 people being treated in different hospitals nationwide. Till now, the death toll has reached 336. According to the Ministry, in the past 24 hours, 10,176 swabs were tested.

According to Morang Representative Netra Prasad Adhikari, a man died at Koshi Hospital COVID-19 Treatment Centre in Biratnagar on September 12. A 69-year-old man of Biratnagar Metropolitan City-8 died at 12:30 pm on September 12, said Ananda Lamichhane, information officer at the treatment centre. Lamichhane said that he was admitted to Koshi COVID-19 treatment centre on August 7 after contracting Corona infection. The deceased was suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes. The number of deaths due to corona infection in Morang has reached 27. According to the Ministry of Social Development, 17 people have died in Biratnagar, four in Budhiganga, one each in Gramthan, Belbari, Patharishanischare, Dhanpalathan, Rangeli and Sunvarshi.
According to Sunsari Representative Jayakrishna Yadav, a man from Ramdhuni Municipality has died of corona infection. A 43-year-old man who was undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, died at 4:30 pm on September 12. He was referred from Inaruwa District Hospital, Sunsari and taken to the institute for treatment. He had been lodged in Jhumka Jail for the past one year. He had been suffering from fever for 10 days and coughing and respiratory problems for two days. He was tested positive for corona in the lab of the institute on September 12. Since then, he has been admitted to the emergency room of the institute. According to the Corona Guideline, his funeral was held on September 12.

According to Saptari Representative Manohar Kumar Pokhrel, the 39-year-old acting chief administrative officer of Rajbiraj Municipality-3 and his family have contracted corona.
According to Siraha Representative Durga Pariyar, a meeting of the district level CCMC on September 12 decided to add the injunction till October 26, said Chief District Officer Pradip Raj Kandel. Vijay Jha, acting director of the provincial health directorate, said that he was taken to Covid Hospital on a ventilator after undergoing a PCR test. According to Ganesh Mishra, Information Officer at the District Administration Office, Dhanusha, the body was managed by the Nepal Army team of Srinath Gan Mahendranagar under the coordination of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan. At the same time, the number of deaths due to corona infection in Dhanusha has reached 13.
Similarly, a 65-year-old man from Bathnaha in Manarasiswa Municipality of Mahottari died of corona virus infection at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpurdham on September 12. The man, who was suffering from high blood pressure, was admitted to the Janakpurdham Provincial Hospital on September 5 for treatment after he developed respiratory problems and fever. The man, who was being treated on a ventilator, died in the morning, said Bijay Jha, acting director of the state’s health directorate.

According to the Ministry of Social Development, 377 people in Kathmandu, 97 in Chitwan, 37 in Lalitpur, 15 in Bhaktapur, 13 in Makwanpur, seven in Ramechhap, one each in Nuwakot, Dolakha and Sindhupalchowk have been infected with the corona virus. At the same time, the number of infected people in the state has reached 14,594. Of them, 6,820 have returned home after treatment while 7,676 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation centers. The death toll from the corona virus has risen to 101 in the state so far, with one woman and two men in Kathmandu, two men in Bhaktapur and one man in Chitwan.
According to Makawanpur Representative Pushparaj Adhikari, the Raksirang Municipality has shut down all services except those provided through emergency and electronic means to reduce the risk of corona virus infection at the community level. Chairman of the rural municipality, Raj Kumar Malla, said that all the services except the essential ones would be closed till September 18 considering the growing risk as the COVID-19 virus has started spreading at the community level. In Makwanpur, corona infection has been confirmed in 624 people so far, while in Raksirang village, 11 people have been infected.

According to Parbat representative Santosh Thapa, Kushma Bazaar has been sealed for a week after corona infection was seen in the community in the district. It has been decided to seal wards 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Kushma Municipality with effect from September 10. Chief District Officer Shambhu Prasad Regmi said that it has been decided to close all services except urgent work. According to him, it has been decided to seal it from September 10 to September 19. Even though the ward has been sealed, emergency service vehicles will be operational.

According to Rupendehi representative Rima BC, a 60-year-old man from Devdaha Municipality-6 died at Lumbini Regional Hospital, Butwal on September 12 due to corona infection. He was rushed to the hospital on September 12 after suffering from fever, cough and respiratory problems. The deceased has been suffering from asthma and epilepsy, said Dr. Bishnu Gautam of Lumbini Provincial Hospital. Similarly, a 40-year-old man of Omshatiya Rural Municipality-5 died on the night of September 12 while undergoing treatment at the Corona Special Temporary Hospital in Butwal. He succumbed to fever, cough and respiratory problems while undergoing treatment on the ventilator of Lumbini Provincial Hospital’s Corona Special Temporary Hospital. The deceased had been suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes and heart issue for three years. At the same time, the number of deaths due to corona infection in Rupandehi has reached 17.
According to Nawalparasi West Representative Narayan Parajuli, a 55-year-old man of Susta Rural Municipality-5, Paklihawa died at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal on September 12 due to corona infection. The infected man was rushed to the hospital on September 5 after he was found to have health problems. He also has diabetes, high blood pressure and liver problems. Vishnu Gautam told. At the same time, the number of deaths due to corona transmission in West Nawalparasi has reached four.
According to former Rukum Representative Jayaman Budha Magar, the Rukumkot market has been sealed for 10 days after the corona virus was confirmed at the community level. After the corona virus was confirmed in 13 people including five policemen, two businessmen, a bank employee and the remaining five quarantine workers in two days on September 10 and 11, an emergency meeting of the District Covid-19 Crisis Management Centre (DCCMC) was held on September 10. It has been decided to seal Rukumkot Bazaar, the 5th and 6th district headquarters, for 10 days.
