Unknown Party Blasts Cooker Bomb at Nepal Telecom Tower in Sindhuli
A cooker bomb was detonated on the tower of Nepal Telecom in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-1 Dumja by an unknown party on March 16. The blast targeting the Nepal Telecom Tower in Dumja BP Park caused minor damage to the windows of the building.
DSP Chiranjibi Dahal, District Police Office, Sindhuli, said that a police team from Police Station, Kusheshwar Dumja reached the spot after receiving the news that there was an explosion at the telecom tower at 3:00 am. The team discovered a cooker cover stuck on the window. Another part of the cooker was on the ground along with two empty bottles with a petrol smell. Additionally, a pamphlet of the People’s Liberation Army was also found at the site
DSP Dahal said that people involved in the incident are being searched for.
