Unidentified Group Causes Arson on JCB
According to the JCB used by Mid Solu Hydropower for construction at Solu River was set on fire by an unidentified group.
Inspector Omprakash Yadav of the District Police Office told INSEC that an unidentified party had set fire to the JCB (Province 3-01003 Pra 7048) parked at the working area of the hydropower in Soludhudhkund Municipality-6.
Inspector Yadav said that the fire broke out when the operator was on his way home to celebrate Dashain after parking in the area on October 12.
The owner of the JCB has been identified as Dil Kumar Basnet, 35, of Soludhudhkund Municipality-6 and it is registered in the name of Sangeeta Construction, Kathmandu, informed the police.
DSP Kavit Katwal said that an investigation has been started into the incident as the police received information about the fire only on September 31.
Police said that they are unsure about the damage caused by the fire.
