Two trucks set on fire during “Biplov” strike

Two trucks were set on fire by an unidentified party during the strike called on by the Nepal Communist Party led by “Biplov” on May 27. The truck with registration number NA6Kha 8007 at Thaha Municipality-1 and another truck with registration number NA7KHA 9493 near Area Police Office in Chaukitole were set on fire according to DSP Yagya Prasad Bhattarai.

Both trucks were destroyed by the fire according to the police.

Similarly, on the morning of May 27, a pressure cooker bomb was recovered at Buddhachok in Hetauda and the bomb was diffused by the team of Nepal Army.

A hoax bomb was also found at Pashupatinagar in Hetauda Sub-metropolis-9 according to the police.

The strike called on by the party has affected the normal life of the people in Hetauda. Majority of the vehicles were affected and commuters were found to be stranded.
