Two arrested on charge of killing 10years old girl after rape
A dead body of 10 years old girl Manita Kumari Yadav of Aurahi Rural Municipality-2 has been recovered from the rice field on October 13. DSP Dipendra Shahi of DPO said that she was killed after rape.
The victim was missing since the evening of October 12 while she was in a fair to watch Durga worship. Police has confirmed that the dead body of the victim was found which was killed after rape.
Police have arrested 32 years old Binod Mikhiya of Aurahi Rural Municipality-5 and Nathuni Pandit, 30 of the same municipality-3 on October 13 on suspicion of their involvement in the incident.
The investigation has found that the girl was lured with money by Binod Mukhiya . Nathuni Pandit was arrested based on information from Binod.
Police said that both accused have confessed their crime. The body is sent to Jankapur Zonal hospital for postmortem. The victim’s party had lodged complaint at DPO on October 13 and investigation on the incident is going on according to police.
