Two arrested on charge of abuse on woman
Police have arrested 39 years old Rekha Gupta of Rapti Municipality-1 and 29 years old Anita Gupta on charge of misbehaving 39 years old woman by beating after making her naked in a public place.
She was misbehaved by pressurizing her to sell land for Rs 50,000 located at Rapti Rural Municipality-1.
The incident was concealed by the local police and was settled however it was made public after the footage was made viral through Facebook and social media. Police arrested both accused on June 11 and will be charged under the public offence act according to the inspector Rabindra Raj Pandey.
The victim is undergoing treatment at Butwal hospital and complaint against the accused have been lodged at Area Police Office of Balubang on June 12.
