Two Accused of Rape of Senior Citizen Arrested.
The police arrested Kismohan Lodh, 18, resident of Rupandehi District Kotaimai Rural Municipality-2 and working in the water supply scheme located in Tansen Municipality-6, Mahatam Lodh, 56 who resides in Gaidahwa Rural Municipality-6 and works in the same scheme, on the 29 March 2023, on the charge of raping a 61-year-old woman.
The victim complained, on 29 March, at the District Police Office, Palpa, accusing them of taking her to a drainage area nearby and raping her on 29 March.
DSP Birendra Thapa of the District Police Office said both the accused were arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
The health examination of the victim was done on 29 March at Palpa Hospital.
