Truck Set on Fire by Unidentified Group
Police has informed that a group of unidentified people have caused arson on a truck (Naa 4 Kha 1009) near Bataha Khola in Mirchaiya Municipality-6 on January 3, 2022.
According to DSP Hari Bahadur Oli of Area Police Office, Mirchaiya, a group of unidentified persons stopped the truck which was going to the western side from the eastern side and set it on fire.
According to DSP Oli, the front portion of the vehicle was destroyed by the fire and those involved in the arson could be the cadres of the Janamat Party since the party is protesting. The accused are being searched, added DSP Oli.
The Janamat Party has called for indefinite highway closure in the districts of Terai from December 30.
