Three Months Imprisonment in the case of Sexual Abuse
District court of Chitwan has prescribed three months of imprisonment and 30 thousand fine to Sarad Shrestha, 35, of Bharatpur Metropolitan city-11 in the charge of sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl child.
As per Ishwor Acharya, Registrar of District Court, Bench of Judge Awani Mainali Bhattarai rendered the verdict on 21 June, 2022.
A complaint was filed by the victim’s family against Shrestha in the district police office on December 19, alleging that the he had sexually abused the child on December 18, 2021.
Health checkup of the victim was done in the Bharatpur hospital on December 19.
