Three Accused of Killing after Rape Arrested
The police arrested three people for involvement in the killing after the rape of Kumari Rai, 52 of Thulungdudhkoshi rural municipality-7 Deusa Teradukhor.
DSP Deepak Shrestha of the District Police Office said that Yuvraj Khatri,20, Bhagidhan Rai, 56, and Charan Rai, 57, of Thulungdudhkoshi Rural Municipality-7 Luruwa are arrested for investigation. DSP Shrestha said that the aggrieved party provided a statement accusing the suspects of the rape and killing of the victim on May 25, 2023.
The police registered a case against the three accused in the district court on May 31 under intentional homicide.
The postmortem of the body was conducted at the district hospital on May 26.
