There is no alternative of election in democracy: Chairperson Pyakurel
INSEC chairperson Subodh Raj Pyakurel, while speaking at the program in Lahan of Siraha said that there is no alternative of election in democracy.
The interaction program was organized by CCCE in Lahan on June 15. He added that the election has been urged to postponed as RJP is also interested to participate the election.
Speaking at the program Chairperson of HURON, Indra Prasad Aryal said that election is the medicine of democracy and everyone must participate in the election. At the same time he said that media has equally an important role to make election fair, clean and fearless.
Dr Rajesh Ahiraj, expert on Madhes affair said that it is a good opportunity for the leaders to go to the people to establish their norms and put their views. He said that no one must miss this opportunity and should take this as an opportunity.
The participants in the program said that people of Madhes are ready for the election however it will be better if RJP can be included. There were representatives from political parties, activists, media personnel and intellectuals in the election.
