Text Book Crunch in Salyan
The students complained that there are shortages in text book even after the starting of this year’s quarterly exam.
The students of ninth grade at Shre Tribhuban Janata High School of Sharada Municipality complained that they are not getting text book of science, Nepali, economics and education.
A quarterly exam at Tribhuban Janata High school has already begun however there are no text books to prepare according to Rama Bista at standard 9. She said that her teacher told her either to attend or not to attend the exam.
Principal Prem Bahadur Oli said that the crunch of book is due to the entrepreneurs. He further complained them of taking money but not providing books. He further said this problem exists in other schools too.
Acting District Education Officer Dina Nath Panthi said that the fund has been sent to the school’s account and they have taken responsibility to provide books on time.
