Text Book Crunch in Dhankuta
Students of ninth standard at Triveni High School of Chuliban in Dhankuta Municipality-7 could not get text book due to the negligence of Janak Education Material Centre even after end of their quarterly exam.
The students said that they had appeared the exam without the text books. According to the principal Ishwori Prasad Adhikari, students did not get their books even after four months of starting of academic year.
Proprietor Yuv Raj Niraula of Birat Books Shop said that initiation has been taken from time to time however no books are available till now.
School teacher Ram Bahadur Shrestha said that students are facing serious problem in their studies due to the lack of books. Sajan Rai of standard 9 said that he appeared first quarterly exam without studying books.
