Ten Years and Six Months Imprisonment For Rape
The bench of the District Court Judge Shadanand Tiwari on June 12, sentenced Lab Yadav, 23, Sarawal Rural Municipality-5, to 10 years and 6 months of imprisonment for the crime of rape of a 24-year-old woman.
The victim filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Parasi, on February 14, 2021, alleging that the accused had raped her on February 8, 2021.
The accused, who was absconding after the incident, was arrested and remanded to judicial custody, on May 27, 2021
The medical examination of the victim was done, on January 15, at Prithvichandra District Hospital, Parasi.
