Teachers Cautioned not to participate in election campaign against CoC
The District Education Office of Surkhet has cautioned teachers not to participate in any election related activities of any political parties against the election code of conduct.
Direct participation or dissemination of election through social networking is strictly against the election Code of Conduct and the teacher’s union, federation and organizations have been cautioned by the District Education Office not to do such activities.
Information officer Bhoj Prasad Lamsal of District Education Office said that the participation of teachers in election related activities is not only against COC but will also give a negative image to citizen that is why they are cautioned. At present most of the teachers are openly involved in election related activities in the district.
