Teacher misbehaved by smearing black soot
The student union ANNISU affiliated to Netra Bikram Chand “Biplab” led Maoist group have misbehaved 37 years old teacher Ganesh Shrestha of Bagbacchala Basic School by smearing soot on his face on December 26.
The district chairperson Badri Adhikari of ANNISU while releasing a press statement of December 26 said that the teacher was smeared with soot on his face along with shoe garland by the students while he was invigilating the exam.
Principal Indra Shrestha of the school said that he went to the district headquarter after some of the parents had exerted pressure on him to leave the school.
The teacher was arrested by the police on December 8 on charge of attempting to rape one woman. However he was released on bail on December 22 by the court order.
After the incident the question was raised on his character by the parents.
