Teacher arrested on charge of sexual abuse
Police have arrested 53 years old teacher Yam Bahadur G.C on September 30 on charge of sexually abusing seven girl students of age from 8 to 12 years old of Saraswoti Elementary School.
The incident of sexual abuse was made public on September 19 and news relating to this incident was published by INSEC online on September 20.
The accused had accepted and confessed his guilt on September 19 during the meeting with students and parents. The school administration had told him to find out the other alternative and on September 29 he resigned the job from the school.
DSP Bir Bahadur Budhamagar of DPO said that there was delay in arresting the accused due to the lack of support from local level.
