Students’ complaints of Book crunch since four months
The students at Chandannath Gurukul Pathshala in Jumla complained of not getting course book since four months even after the beginning of education session.
The principal Bishwo Raj Upadhyaya of the school said that the books have been demanded however it has not been received yet. He added “students are facing difficulties in their studies after the book crunch. He further said that the District Education Office has been informed about the crisis however no hearing has been done so far”.
The principal said-“the study up to three standards is operating in the school. Students at two standards are studying old books and students at standard three are out of books”.
In Karnali the new study session starts from the month of February however until the end of May students could not get any books for study.
In Chandannath Gurukul School there are 15 girl student and 25 boy students. According to District Education Officer Kul Bahadur Fadera, the district have demanded for the books but have not received yet. He added that the office is committee to solve the issue soon.
