Students compelled to study in private schools

Locals of Mugum Karmarong Rural Municipality 07, Maha have complained that students are compelled to pay high price and study in private schools after the Jana Kalyan Primary school is closed due to the lack of teachers.

The school was established in 1978 and was operating primary level study since then.

In this academic session the school faced crisis as teachers do not came to the school for teaching for a long time. Students are compelled for paying high price in a private school after the Janakalyan School was closed.

The school had admitted students from April 4 to 29 for this academic session.  Out of three permanent teachers one teacher was transferred to other school.

Teachers were called on to be present in the school however none of the teachers were present in the school. The ward chairman Chayanba Tamang of the Rural Municipality said that the salary of these teachers will be hold until they do not return.
